He was a Gold Medalist in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, and later obtained a Master’s in Business Administration degree from Harvard University. His contribution was recognized by countless awards including the Padma Bhushan in 2001 and the Red Ink Grade of Honor by the Jnanpith Award Committee in 2014 for his outstanding contribution to the development of education in the country.
Vikram will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, inspiring leadership, and his immense contribution to the development of the Indian educational system. His legacy and spirit will continue to inspire generations to come.
