A little distance from Manali, Beas Kund trek is located where the Beas River’s water source begins. The best part about the Beas Kund region is that it has one of the most gorgeous landscapes. It is located at an altitude of 12774 feet approximately and is covered in lush forests, giving it a feeling of a mystical world.
Beas Kund, the river’s source, is situated near Rohtang Pass in the Himalayas, in the state of Himachal Pradesh’s center. The Beas River has historical significance because it caused issues during Alexander the Great’s invasion of India in 326 BCE, when the army rebelled and refused to advance.
Best time to visit ?
Beas Kund Trek can be completed at any time of the year, beginning in April to July and continuing through October. However, as soon as snow begins to fall in November and December, it is not advised because the weather could worsen.
